1st Grade Teacher
Bishop Hoffman Catholic School – Sacred Heart Campus in Fremont, Ohio is seeking a First-Grade teacher minister for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants should be dedicated to both the faith and academic formation of students.
The individual must have a valid Ohio teaching license. Candidates must have a desire to teach in a Christian environment, have the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, work collaboratively with faculty members, and have good communication and technology skills.
Chosen candidates must have completed current BCI/FBI background checks and the Diocese of Toledo Protecting God’s Youth certification before the start of the school year.

High School Science Teacher
Bishop Hoffman Catholic School - St. Joseph Central Catholic High School Campus is seeking a High School Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 School Year.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or valid Ohio teaching certificate. Master’s preferred.

A passion for science and a commitment to continuing education.

Compassionate and understanding with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:

Teach Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

Design and implement comprehensive lessons that incorporate a thinking environment that promotes student autonomy for learning.

Develop assessments that meet standards and expectations.

Provide interactive labs and experiments safely that incorporate content and hands-on learning.

Monitor students’ academic progress and any discipline issues while communicating with administration, parents, and other staff, as needed.

Establish classroom rules and procedures and be consistent with implementation.

Support Positions
Head of School
Bishop Hoffman Catholic School in Fremont, Ohio, is seeking a Head of School to provide leadership in the following areas: Catholic identity, day-to-day management of school operations, and creating a vision for the successful implementation of the BHCS mission.
Position Overview
The Head of School for Bishop Hoffman Catholic School is charged with leading the schools toward the achievement of their goal “To strive for excellence in academics, leadership, virtue and vocation to bring students closer to God empowering them to positively impact society in partnership with our community.” This is to be accomplished through leadership in spiritual, executive, development, financial, and managerial areas in cooperation with the BHCS Governing Board and Parish Priests. These responsibilities include but are not limited to short-term and long-range planning, public relations, staff oversight, fundraising, facilities maintenance and relations and communication within the BHCS family and in the greater Fremont/Sandusky County community. The Head of School reports to the BHCS Governing Board.

Part-Time Bus Driver
Bishop Hoffman Catholic School is seeking to hire a Bus Driver for before-school transportation and after-school activities.
The position is approximately 30 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 8:15 am and
2:15 pm – 5:00 pm and some after-school high-school athletic activities with hours to be determined.
Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must have C.D.L. license with passenger and school bus endorsements
or be willing to attend required classes to receive C.D.L.

Must be able to work independently without supervision
